Never in her life had Amber ever encountered something like this! A long stretch of land as far as the eye could see, filled with nothing but sand and crystal blue water, uninterrupted until it met the horizon. She trotted up and down the bank, occasionally pausing to overturn an interesting looking shell with her nose. Yes, she'd been on "beaches" before, but those were just tiny strips of gravely sand around lakes and ponds.... Never something this massive!
The Arctic Wolf finally ceased her pacing, and took a few small steps towards the lapping waves. It was a beautiful day, though in the height of summer. It was hot. The thickness of her pelt didn't offer any comfort, either. And that crystal clear water did look quite refreshing...
Throwing caution to the wind, Amber leaped forward into the waves, laughing as she splashed in the waves and snapping at imaginary prey. After a few moments though, the fae paused, blinking back at the shore. She could have sworn she had seen something move in the distance... just in case, she let loose a howl, claiming this land as her own. If anyone else wanted it, they would have to challenge her for it.
