Featherly padded over the soft underpaw of the jungle, looking around at the foliage and muttering to herself. The place was beautiful, but smelled of another fae who seemed to have marked the territory. Featherly had sincerly hoped that she could claim the land herself, but decided against a battle. Perhaps she could get along with this female as a beta, a second in comand. If the fae proved hostile, perhaps featherly could see how many followers she had. A one on one wouldn't be too bad.
"Featherly, you are stepping ahead of yourself. You aren't used to a pack. Be a leader later." Featherly knew she was right. Leading right now would be a pain in the hind end. The oddly colored fae may be demanding and independant like a leader, but she didn't want the responcibility. Featherly would be happy as a part of the pack. Certainly easier than the life of a loner, more fun too. More time to enjoy life and be silly.
A wiff of fresher scent drifted past Featherly's nose and she stopped, looking around for the bearer. Had this other wolf scented her? This might be interesting to see how this other fae might react to Featherly's scent. Taking a quick second to look around, the white wolf dashed into cover and hid quietly, watching and waiting to see what the new wolf would do. "Here we are, let's see what you do."
